Three APC films were selected to represent their country at the 84th Oscar ceremony :
- La Guerre est déclarée by Valérie Donzelli, produced by Rectangle Productions in association with Wild Bunch will represent France
- Le Havre by Aki Kaürismaki, produced by Pyramide Productions will represent Finland
- Et maintenant on va où by Nadine Labaki, produced by Les Films des Tournelles will represent Lebanon
