the Producers' Guild of America (PGA) during the 2010 Cannes Fils

May 16th, we signed the agreement at the FilmFrance terrace.

Autumn Stories - Franco-American Cultural Fund--- Luncheon November 2009
Members of the American International Desk met with the American WGA writers selected to participate in the Franco-American Cultural Fund and the Ile de France Film Commission writer residency program at Royaumont Abby. Eric Altmeyer/Mandarin, Georges Bermann /Partizan, Philip Boëffard /Nord Ouest, Etienne Comar /Les Films de la Suane; Michelle deBroca /Fildebroc Productions, Catalaine Knell/Franglais Film, Nicolas Mauvernay /Galatee Films held court with writers Jeremy Leven, Kasi Lemmons, Janet Dulin Jones. Olivier René Veillon and SACEM’s Eglantine Langevin and Alejandra Skira hosted at the lovely La Fontaine Gaillon restaurant.
Dijon Film Forum– October 2009
Eric Altmayer /Mandarin ; Arnold Roxane /Pyramide Films, Fredéric
Brillion/Epithète Films and APC’s director, Frederic Goldsmith attended
the conference hosted by ARP, the city of Dijon and the Bourgogne
Region. The forum highlights film rights issues and other concerns
facing the authors, directors and producers that make up the EU film
community. The guild representatives of the American film industry also
attended, including: MPAA’s Robert Pisano, President And Chief
Operating Officer and Elisabeth Kaltman, Communications Director; DGA’s
Jay Roth, National Executive Director Gil Cates, Franco American Cultural Fund Board Members and former
President; and Kathy Garmezy, Director Government And International
Affairs; and WGA’s Elias Davis, Secretary-Treasurer and Kay Wolf
Schaber, WGAW Independent Film Executive.
Deauville Film Festival Luncheon --- September 2009
The Deauville Film Festival and Cartier brought together Eric Altmayer /Mandarin; Beatrice Merimee /Produire a Paris; Marc Missonier /Fidelity Films, Catalaine Knell /FRanglais Film; and APC’s Frederic Goldsmith and Julien Rouch and the producers and film makers of City Island, Entre Nos, Harrison Montgomery and Black Dynamite at the elegant Cartier Mansion.
