French Producers’ Guild, APC, has opened the « American & International Desk » (A&I Desk) to advise foreign producers on the French Tax Rebate for International Production (TRIP) benefits and to help select a French counterpart. P2P - PRODUCERTOPRODUCTEUR :
In november 2010, APC launched an interview series called "P2P" (ProducertoProducteur) which promotes a dialogue between International and French producers about the issue facing production today in a global market.

Following the success of the first edition, the Producers Guild of America (PGA), the French Association des Producteurs de Cinéma (APC) and the 38th Deauville American Film Festival, with the collaboration of La Commission du Film d’Île de France, invite you to attend the second professional Franco-American meeting day on Monday September 3rd.

After the Memorandum of Understanding signature in Cannes during the 2010 Film Festival, both the PGA and the APC had the desire to follow up with a "hands on" event sponsered by Ile de France FC to show that this affiliation between the US and France was not just another airy arrangement.

Autumn Stories - Franco-American Cultural Fund--- Luncheon October 11 2010
Membersof the American International Desk met with the American WGA writers selected to participate in the Franco-American Cultural Fund and the Ilede France Film Commission writer residency program at Royaumont Abby. John Brian King, Rusty Lemorande, Cynthia Riddle, and Danielle Wolff met with Frederic Goldsmith, Georges Bermann /Partizan, Nicolas Mauvernay /Galatee Films, Jean-Pierre Ramsay-Levy/Fit Productions, and Jean Cazés/Initial Productions. Olivier René Veillon and SACEM’s Eglantine Langevin and Alejandra Skira hosted at the lovely La Fontaine Gaillon restaurant.
Deauville Film Festival - September 2010
Thisyear we invited producers to meet with us in our Paris office. Everyoneshowed enormous interest about APC and shooting in France in general. We met with four producers who came to the Festival with their film: - "Cyrus" and "Welcome to the Riley’s" Scottfree Producer, Michael Costigan looking to expand their new London office. - "Dryland "America Ferrera [Ugly Betty] and Ryan Piers Williams /Maya Entertainment who are looking to do more films in Europe -"Meet Monica Velours" & “The Kids Are All Right” producer, Jordan Horowitz with Gilbert Films is looking to more EU films.
