French Producers’ Guild, APC, has opened the « American & International Desk » (A&I Desk) to advise foreign producers on the French Tax Rebate for International Production (TRIP) benefits and to help select a French counterpart. After the Memorandum of Understanding signature in Cannes during the 2010 Film Festival, both the PGA and the APC had the desire to follow up with a "hands on" event sponsered by Ile de France FC to show that this affiliation between the US and France was not just another airy arrangement.

Deauville Film Festival – September 2010
Thisyear we invited producers to meet with us in our Paris office. Everyoneshowed enormous interest about APC and shooting in France in general.
We met with four producers who came to the Festival with their film:
– "Cyrus" and "Welcome to the Riley’s"  Scottfree Producer, Michael Costigan looking to expand their new London office.
– "Dryland "America Ferrera [Ugly Betty] and Ryan Piers Williams /Maya Entertainment who are looking to do more films in Europe
-"Meet Monica Velours" & “The Kids Are All Right” producer, Jordan Horowitz with Gilbert Films is looking to more EU films.
